Is there one person, or a few people, you need to remove from your invitation, reminder, follow-up or post event communication?

They were loaded into your invitation through an appropriate selection, but maybe they don’t need to receive your specific communication right now (maybe you’ve already communicated with them outside of your GAIL event, or maybe you’re going to send them a specialized event communication).

At any rate, there is a quick and easy way to remove them before you send out your communication.

1.  Create your invitation/communication.

2. Click the Add button and select ‘Multiple Constituents’.

3. Plug in the name of your selection (audience).

4. Verify you’re using all appropriate solicit codes, there should always be at least 3.

  • No University Contact
  • Do Not Email (or Do Not Mail)
  • Do Not Email – S/C/U (or Do Not Mail – S/C/U)
    • Ex: Do Not Email – COE – Education
  • Do Not Solicit**
  • Do Not Solicit – S/C/U*
    • Ex: Do Not Solicit – COE – Education

** Only if the purpose of the event is to fundraise.

5. Click the Save button.

6. On the Invitees tab within your invitation, find the constituent you want to remove from the mailing.

7. Click the double green chevron arrows next to the constituents name and click the Delete button.

8. Verify that the person has been deleted and continue processing as you normally would.
