The Georgia Fund is the annual giving program for the University of Georgia. The Georgia Fund makes great things happen in the lives of students, faculty, and all Georgia citizens. Besides administering the phonathon and direct mail campaigns, we oversee the University Partners and Presidents Club leadership giving opportunities, the Parents & Families Association and the Senior Signature program.

The Office of Leadership & Major Gifts is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with alumni and friends
in an effort to raise significant gifts for The University of Georgia. The office is comprised of a Senior Director and Regional
Directors of Development. These individuals travel throughout the country visiting with alumni and friends to keep them connected
with The University of Georgia and to increase private support.
These gifts provide the margin of excellence in all areas of teaching, research, and service for the state's flagship institution.
Leadership and Major Gifts include significant gifts of cash and appreciated stock, deferred gifts, and gifts of real estate and other gift vehicles.

As part of UGA's Office of Development, the Gift & Estate Planning staff administers major current and deferred gifts to the University. To help you plan your own gift, we are available to meet with you and your financial advisor to answer your questions, provide tax assistance, and help you with bequest and beneficiary issues. In addition, we have created a website to answer basic questions about various types of giving and to offer specific examples of how donors have designed their gifts to best suit their own financial situation.

The office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Georgia is responsible for managing the University's relationships with corporations and private foundations. Our goal is to increase the amount of corporate and private foundation support made to the University of Georgia to carry out its mission of education, research and service.

The mission of the Office of Donor Relations & Stewardship at the University of Georgia is to sustain and nurture the University's lifelong relationship with its donors while providing accurate and timely information pertaining to the investment, use and impact of their gifts. The office was established to cultivate, engage and recognize donors across the university through stewardship programs and events.
The University of Georgia's Constituent Based Directors are committed to securing financial support for the University. These development officers identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts to The UGA Foundation on behalf of the University's 17 schools/colleges and 10 of the academic units. They promote their academic programs/needs to alumni, corporations, foundations, and friends of The University of Georgia. Private supported generated by the Constituent Based Directors enhances the University's overall mission of teaching, research, and service.
