Requesting Data from GAIL

NOTE: The helpdesk ticketing system in this article may look different as we begin our transition to TeamDynamix. Once this change goes into effect, you will see a notice when you attempt to submit a request through ASKIT. The link provided in that notice will take you to TeamDynamix where you can submit your request. If you have any questions, please reach out to a member of the Client Services team.

Need list of constituents for a solicitation, event invitation, or just simple data inquiry? If so, keep in mind that specific access and training in GAIL are required to obtain this data. Please read the following steps to request access and training, as well as processing data.
Requirements
  1. Requester must have GAIL Access & Training
    • Submit GAIL Access Request Form (please allow up to 10 business days to process)
    • Attend All Users Training Class  (*or Online + Updating Records)
    • Attend Direct Marketing, Events, or Correspondence Training Class
    • Refer to the GAIL Training Diagram.

  4. Sharing Data with Other Users
    • Please remember that as a GAIL user, you have access to sensitive information that must be protected at all times. If you need to share data from GAIL with another constituent, please ensure that the entity you are planning to share with has 1) current access to GAIL or 2) has submitted a Non-Disclosure Agreement to ASKIT@uga.edu.  Once one of those have been met, all document(s) are to be sent through SendFiles, UGA’s approved and secured resource to encrypt data. Please be sure you are aware of GAIL policies.
