Using “Not one of” in Query

When using the “Not one of” filter to exclude constituents from a query, keep in mind that it will require the constituents to have the non-excluded criteria. In other words, it will exclude any constituents that do not fall into the field on which you are filtering.

For example, in the criteria filter below, the “Not one of” criteria put forth will not only exclude constituents in Alabama and Florida, but will exclude all constituents without a state listed in their primary address.

When trying to exclude constituents from a query, it is best to create a selection of those constituents and use that selection as the exclusion rather than using the “Not one of” filter.
