It began with their courage, it continues with our commitment.

Beginning Friday, June 1 and continuing through Monday, June 4, the Black Alumni Affinity Group is hosting its inaugural Giving Day to commemorate the first three Black graduates of the University of Georgia — Mary Frances Early, Dr. Hamilton E. Holmes and Charlayne Hunter-Gault.

Your gift of $19.61, $196.10 or $1,961.00 to the Black Alumni Scholarship Fund by June 30  will enable the Black Alumni Affinity Group to increase the number of undergraduate student scholars from four to seven, and recognize you as Charter Member of The 1961 Club. 

Together, with your support, we can eliminate financial obstacles, by removing barriers to education and keeping doors open for students to attain a UGA education.
