 OVERVIEW

Amidst so many societal struggles—racism and racial inequality, gender violence, global health crises, ecological disaster, and threats to democracy—truthful and powerful storytelling has never been more necessary. Likewise, Peabody’s legacy of recognizing Stories That Matter has never been more important.

WHY SUPPORT PEABODY

With the disruptions caused by the global pandemic, Peabody Giving Day offers a critical opportunity to support the mission and continued viability of the awards program.  From news, documentary, entertainment programming across television/streaming, radio/podcasting, and web platforms, Peabody recognizes the best stories, those that shape who we are and how we see our common humanity.

This year’s goal is to secure $40,000 and donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar, increasing the impact of your gift. 

Gifts of $100 or more qualify donors for membership in the Friends of Peabody.  The full amount of your gift is deductible as a charitable contribution.
