The White Coat Ceremony is a time-honored tradition for our CVM students as they enter the College of Veterinary Medicine to start their careers in veterinary medicine. As you reflect on your time as a student, we welcome you to help us grow this alumni tradition by sharing words of encouragement, advice or wisdom with our inaugural White Coat Note Project.

On August 14, 2022, members of the incoming Class of 2026 will receive their white coats before faculty, family and friends as they take an oath affirming their commitment to veterinary medicine. When they reach inside the pocket of their first white coats, your encouraging words will be there for them to read on a White Coat Note.

With your gift of $100 before June 30, you can sponsor a student (or more) and provide a message of encouragement or advice in their white coat as they step through this rite of passage. Your sponsorship will go to support student learning and have an immediate meaningful impact on the lives of our future veterinarians.
