The Home Depot UGA Alumni Corporate Chapter is calling all Bulldog employees to support an endowed need-based scholarship! This scholarship will increase UGA’s ability to assist academically qualified students who have the greatest financial need at the University of Georgia. As a top priority, your participation will unite Home Depot employees and maximize our efforts as UGA alumni!

Why This Project Matters

University of Georgia alumni employees of the Home Depot are committed to ensuring that deserving students are able to study at UGA, regardless of their ability to pay the full cost of attendance. Collectively, if UGA alumni employees (roughly 450) commit to contributing $25,000 and take full advantage of The Home Depot’s employee matching gift program, that becomes a $50,000 gift to the University of Georgia. In turn, the UGA Foundation will match that $50,000 dollar for dollar, creating a $100,000 endowed scholarship for a student in need.

About The Home Depot UGA Alumni Corporate Chapter

UGA Alumni Corporate Chapters foster networking, fellowship and camaraderie among UGA graduates in the workplace. The Home Depot Corporate Chapter will be the FIRST chapter to create a need-based student scholarship, one of the main tenets of The Commit to Georgia Campaign highlighted by President Jere W. Morehead during his visit in March 2017.
