Multicultural Programs was developed in 2005 to provide minority alumni opportunities to be involved and stay connected with the Association and University while networking with and enjoying fellow UGA alumni and friends. The program focuses on outreach to minority and under-represented groups, including African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian and bi-racial alumni through specially designed, culturally sensitive events.  Multicultural programs partners with campus departments on events and programs to appeal to multicultural alumni.  A steering committee or advisory group with a membership reflecting the cultural and ethnic diversity of the University's alumni base is monitored under multicultural programs.
