In the spring of 2019, alumnae and friends from across the country rallied to raise $50,000 in support of a scholarship. These gifts were matched by the UGA Foundation to create the first-ever Women of UGA Georgia Commitment Scholarship. The following year, it was awarded by the Office of Student Financial Aid to an incoming student; the first Women of UGA Scholarship recipient.

But Bulldogs don’t rest on their laurels. We’re committed. We’re ambitious. We achieve greater to serve more. That’s why we immediately set our sights on endowing a second scholarship, and we’re nearly there.

Only $4,000 more is needed to endow this scholarship. With your support during Giving Week, this goal will become a reality.

The mission of Women of UGA is to create opportunities for personal and professional development, instill a spirit of giving, and invest in the future of the University, its students and its alumnae.
