Assistant Director of Editorial Content
The Assistant Director of Editorial Content plays a key role in the Division of Development and Alumni Relations’ Office of Communications. (DARCOMM). This team of approximately 15-20 staff members and student interns is responsible for producing all communications and marketing materials to support the University’s alumni engagement and fundraising efforts. This position takes the lead on major writing assignments, including the creation of a style guide for major campaigns which serves as a guide for others on the team who need to write copy for those campaigns, and leads the content creation portion of the DARCOMM team.

The Associate Director for Business Engagement will foster new, significant, long-term partnerships with individuals, industry and industry-connected philanthropic foundations. This position will work externally with individuals and industry representatives to identify meaningful opportunities for corporate, foundation, and philanthropic investment, support, and collaboration, while maintaining strong internal relationships with university faculty, staff, and administrators.

The College Engagement Coordinator plays a critical role in fostering meaningful connections between the College of Pharmacy and its alumni, donors, parents, corporations, and industry partners. This position executes coordinated engagement strategies that work together to strengthen the donor pipeline—including special events, targeted digital marketing efforts and personalized outreach. These efforts are designed to move individuals toward deeper involvement with the College, creating a natural progression from broad-based engagement to more meaningful philanthropic relationships.

The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for daily oversight of the direct marketing side of Annual Giving along with the affiliated Annual Giving staff. The Annual Giving team is primarily responsible for raising unrestricted revenue to support schools, colleges, and units across campus and maintaining the health of the donor pipeline.

The Director of Development is responsible for increasing philanthropic support for Franklin College, through direct portfolio management and through leading the work of Franklin’s Associate Directors of Development. This position serves as a member of the Franklin Development & Alumni Relations leadership team, collaborating across departmental lines and within University Development, to align priorities and maintain a donor- centered approach to fundraising.
