Overview
On Thursday, March 30, 2023, we’re Calling the Dawgs to support the university. Dawg Day of Giving is a unified, all-day fundraising effort calling on the University of Georgia alumni, donors, students, faculty, staff, parents and friends to come together to support UGA.
Gifts can be directed to any school, college, department, cause, program or area of greatest need. What matters most is that every Dawg gives and becomes part of UGA’s positive impact on our students, state and the world.
This toolkit provides language, graphics, and other marketing resources to help the UGA community Call the Dawgs together.
How you can help
- Use the provided marketing toolkit to help promote Dawg Day of Giving on your school/college/unit and personal accounts.
- Share content from the Alumni Association’s social media handles. @UGAalumni
- Include a note about Giving Day in your alumni newsletters/listservs if you have emails going out.
- Spread the word at virtual events and through personal networking.
- Make your own gift and challenge your friends to give!
- BE CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!

When tens of thousands of voices join together to Call the Dawgs on a fall Saturday in Athens, it creates one of college football’s most iconic moments. But Calling the Dawgs doesn’t just happen in Sanford Stadium. It happens the world over—whenever and wherever Bulldogs come together. And when that happens, the result is even more powerful.
That’s why, on March 30, we’re Calling All Dawgs for the University of Georgia’s Dawg Day of Giving.
Dawg Day of Giving is a 24-hour, worldwide event to improve the lives of our students and build tomorrow’s UGA. Join in by donating any amount to any area on campus. By working as one united Bulldog Nation, we can turn one day of giving into a lifetime of opportunities for UGA students.
With Bulldogs around the world at your back, your support goes further than ever before. You remove barriers to higher education. You solidify UGA’s position as both an academic and athletic powerhouse. You strengthen the school that unites a worldwide network of Bulldogs around the Arch, the Hedges and a commitment to giving back.

Promo Mark
The promotional mark will serve as the primary visual identifier for Dawg Day of Giving. The mark may not replace an official University of Georgia logo to ensure brand equity. Consistent presentation is vital in strengthening the brand’s recognizability and impact. Any modification to the mark is therefore prohibited.
DIGITAL GRAPHICS
We will provide several digital graphics and a social media marketing plan you can use to help promote Dawg Day of Giving. In some instances, messaging should be further customized to your school/college/chapter. Please include the Dawg Day of Giving link in all social media posts.

Campus Activation
We are providing artwork for photo props and event signage to help with your campus activation on Dawg Day of Giving. Please note – each school, college and unit is responsible for ordering and paying for their signage, window clings and photo props.
Window Clings
To order, please fill out a Job Request form with Bulldog Print and specify where the window clings will be applied (ie. outside or inside the window).

Photo Props

Photo props are cut to a 3’x3′ contoured shape (die cut). Rates for each photo prop vary (see below). These rates are per one prop ordered. To bring the cost down, we encourage units to order multiple props or combine your order with another unit’s order. This will be most cost-effective.
