Overview
The University of Georgia is taking on the University of Mississippi in this year’s Beat Week, our annual giving challenge against some of UGA’s biggest rivals.
From the Arch to the Grove, Bulldogs and Ole Miss fans all over the world will compete from Nov. 2-7 to see which fanbase can raise the most gifts for their institution.
Gifts can be directed to any school, college, department, cause, program or area of greatest need.
This toolkit provides language, graphics, and other marketing resources to help Bulldogs everywhere beat Ole Miss.
How you can help
- Use the provided marketing toolkit to help promote Beat Week on your school/college/unit and personal accounts.
- Share content from the Alumni Association’s social media handles (@UGAalumni).
- Include a note about Beat Week in your alumni newsletters/listservs if you have emails going out.
- Spread the word through personal networking.
- Make your own gift and challenge your friends/family to give!
- Encourage students to attend on-campus events during Beat Week (and host your own!).
- BE CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!

Nov. 2-7 is Beat Week, a one-week giving challenge that pits the University of Georgia against the University of Mississippi, and we’re calling on all alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and fans: make a gift, help UGA students, Beat Ole Miss! Any gift of $5 or more — to anywhere on campus — helps set UGA students on a path to prosper and pushes Georgia closer to victory!
Kirby and the Dawgs have got the ball game handled, so it’s up to us to win this off-field fundraising face-off. We need every Bulldog committed if we want the W, so let’s get ready to beat Ole Miss.

Consistent presentation is vital in strengthening the brand’s recognizability and impact. Any modification to the marks is therefore prohibited.
