Creating a culture of philanthropy
The division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) has a big goal: to create a culture of philanthropy at the University of Georgia. The Office of the Vice President leads the team in working towards its mission. We believe that the team is more than the sum of its individual parts, and we all strive to live out our values: servant leadership, innovation, and commitment. To be successful, all units – from the career center to alumni relations to advancement services – must be coordinated and working towards the same vision.
How will we know when we’ve been successful? When every Bulldog is committed to Georgia. Until then, we have more to do.
