DAR Web Directory Process
Ensuring the online directory for DAR staff is accurate is not only helpful to colleagues and donors, but it’s crucial to fostering a collaborative environment that encourages quick and clear communication.
Below is an updated process to add/maintain directory information. NOTE: there are different processes for DAR home-based employees vs. campus partners.
Definitions:
- Home-based Employee: DAR staff located in 1PP, Office of Special Events, Career Center, Atlanta Alumni Center
- Campus Partner: DAR staff located in schools, colleges, and units
Home-based Employees
Adding New Hires
- During the hiring process, DAR HR will contact the hiring manager to obtain the information needed to add new hires.
- The new hire’s profile will be added to the directory on their first day of employment.
- Their headshot will be added by DARCOMM once it has been scheduled and completed with Edwin Hammond. Dates for headshot days are in each month’s Pulse email.
Making Directory Updates
- If you need to update information for yourself or a colleague (name, phone number, building, etc.), please email Abbie Jones (ude.agu@52senoj.eibba). Please include all applicable information.
- Headshot changes are made by DARCOMM. Please attend a headshot day (listed in the Pulse each month) or by emailing Edwin Hammond.
Campus Partners
Adding New Hires
- During the hiring process for a new employee in a school/college/unit, supervisors should complete this Microsoft Form to provide new employee information.
- Once the form is submitted, the new employee will be added to the directory.
- Their headshot will be added by DARCOMM once it has been scheduled and completed with Edwin Hammond. Dates for headshot days are in each month’s Pulse email.
