December ’24 DAR Star: Logan Lewis

We work with absolutely incredible people — and we all have varied interests and experiences, which adds to the unique makeup of the University of Georgia. We’ll be regularly spotlighting a few rock stars from around the division so that even if you don’t cross paths with them in the break room or Zoom with them on a weekly basis, you can get to know colleagues who can enhance your work life and productivity.

Name: Logan Lewis

Title: Digital Strategist

  • I help manage the social media, email and web channels for UGA Alumni, including the UGA LinkedIn account. I create content and run digital marketing campaigns to ensure UGA’s message reaches the broadest audience possible. Most of our emails and social media posts are planned weeks in advance, and I get to work behind the scenes at live events to provide social coverage.

Where can we find you?

Time in DAR: 11 Months

No. 1 tip for someone just joining DAR: Go around and meet people in other areas. DAR has so many interesting individuals and you never know what stories you’ll hear or tips and tricks you’ll learn.

What is your favorite reason for working for UGA/DAR? I love the people, especially in DARCOMM. We have a lot of fun and are always learning more about each other.

What is your favorite spot in Athens to grab lunch? I LOVE Baddies Burgers!

On a typical Saturday evening, you can find me… More than likely watching football, playing video games or hanging out in Discord with my friends.

Something you might not know about me is: I used to work in esports for the University of Akron and I used to be an All American Flag Football Referee.

A song that really pumps me up is: Superhero by Metro Boomin, Future & Chris Brown

Lately, I’ve been watching… Designated Survivor (again)

My dream vacation would be to visit: Peru to hike the Incan Trail

Tell us about your family! I have 3 siblings and 5 step siblings (I love my 4 parents). Both my mom and dad work in higher education — my mom used to work in development.
