Haley joined DARCOMM in July 2022. Haley graduated from the University of South Carolina in May with a Bachelor of Science in Sport & Entertainment Management and a Spanish minor. While there, she was a student-athlete on the USC Swim Team, a bassist in the USC Orchestra, an emerging leader in the Gamecock Leadership Academy, and the recipient of the Jim Hunter Memorial Endowed Scholarship.
During college, Haley was a development intern with the South Carolina Philharmonic and a development assistant with the USC School of Music/Kroger Center for the Arts. These experiences exposed her to the type of work we do, including fundraising events, prospect research, effective stewardship of donors, and data management. Those experiences will serve her well as she assists with marketing and communications projects for the Student Engagement and Affinity Group teams in the Office of Alumni Relations as well as other large programs such as Georgia Giving Day, Beat Week, and Thank a Donor Day.
Haley is a native of Suwanee and is new to living in Athens. But she comes from a Bulldog family–her brother graduated from UGA in 2019 and her mom works for the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. In her free time, Haley enjoys reading, running and playing the bass.
