Jack Loonam is an Associate Director of Development for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.  In this role, he oversees the Life Sciences division, where he helps donors strengthen their lifelong relationship with UGA and Franklin College.

Jack is a 2015 Terry School of Business graduate, where he was both a 4-year member of Army ROTC and a walk-on Football player from 2011-2014. After graduation, Jack served with the 1st Calvary Division in Fort Hood, Texas as an active-duty Army officer; including a deployment overseas to the Middle East in 2017 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Prior to joining our team after the military, Jack served as a top-performing medical device rep for 5.5 years in Georgia and the Carolinas.

Jack brings a deep passion for building meaningful connections and creating opportunities that support the University of Georgia’s mission.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys cheering for the Dawgs, staying active in the Athens community with his family, and outdoor activities like fly fishing and scuba diving. Jack lives in Athens with his wife Lacy, a L&D nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital, and their daughter Quinn and son Bailey.
